Talk to a coachWhat we work on
Most triathletes spend every spare hour swimming, cycling and running. A short, focused gym block makes those hours count and keeps you injury free.
Swim
Shoulder strength and mobility for a stronger, steadier stroke.
Bike
Hip, glute and trunk strength so you hold your position for the long rides.
Run
Single-leg strength and tendon resilience for running off the bike.
Core and trunk
Stability that carries across all three disciplines.
Mobility
Keep moving well when training volume climbs.
Season planning
Gym work that fits around your swim, bike and run, not on top of it.
Whatever distance you are racing
We plan your strength work around the race you are training for.
| Race | Swim | Bike | Run |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sprint | 750m | 20km | 5km |
| Olympic | 1.5km | 40km | 10km |
| Half Ironman (70.3) | 1.9km | 90km | 21.1km |
| Ironman | 3.8km | 180km | 42.2km |

A plan around your season

Triathlon training questions
Will lifting weights make me slower?
No. The right strength work improves efficiency and power, and it is programmed so you do not add bulk or tiredness before key sessions.
I already train six days a week. Where does the gym fit?
Usually one or two short sessions a week. We plan them around your hard swim, bike and run days.
When in the season should I start?
The off season is the best time to build strength, but it is never too late. Closer to a race we switch to shorter maintenance sessions.
