Hyrox training questions
I have never done a fitness race. Can I still join?
Yes. Many people start in Doubles or a Relay team, and every session is scaled to where you are now.
Do I need to be a runner?
No. We build your running alongside the stations, so you finish strong without being a runner first.
How long should I train before a race?
It depends on your starting point. We cover it in Is 12 weeks enough to train for TRYKA or HYROX?
What is the difference between Hyrox and TRYKA?
Both mix running with functional stations. Hyrox uses 1km runs; TRYKA, the Irish race, uses 800m runs and has a shorter TRYKA 500 for beginners. The training overlaps, so our sessions prepare you for both. See TRYKA training.
