TRYKA training questions

I have never done a fitness race. Can I still join?

Yes. Most people start with the TRYKA 500, and every session is scaled to where you are now.

Do I need to be a runner?

No. We build your running alongside the stations, so you finish strong without being a runner first.

How long should I train before a race?

It depends on your starting point. We cover it in Is 12 weeks enough to train for TRYKA or HYROX?

Is TRYKA the same as Hyrox?

They are close cousins: running plus functional stations. TRYKA uses 800m runs and its own stations, Hyrox uses 1km runs. The training overlaps, so our sessions prepare you for both. See Hyrox training.
